The Family Man: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Anupama Chopra Film Companion There are enough thrills here but what stays with you eventually is a sense of sadness. Jun 7, 2021 Full Review The Family Man: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express The Manoj Bajpayee show significantly raises its stakes in the second season, casting its net wider, and manages to get in a larger context about the state of the world we are living in. Jun 7, 2021 Full Review The Family Man: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Tatsam Mukherjee Firstpost The Family Man S02 is reminiscent of the densely-plotted Rajeev Rai films from the late 80s and 90s (like Vishwathma, Mohra), where the villains are seemingly insurmountable, and unlikely heroes emerge in unexpected places. Rated: 4/5 Aug 10, 2022 Full Review The Family Man: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Tanul Thakur The Wire The Family Man's second season is a decent follow-up, even though it sometimes lacks the intrigue and humour of its predecessor. Jun 7, 2021 Full Review The Family Man: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Suchin Mehrotra The Quint Filmmaker duo Raj and D.K. know how to begin with a bang. Jun 7, 2021 Full Review The Family Man: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Mihir Bhanage The Times of India All in all, The Family Man 2 ticks the right boxes that make it worthy of a binge-watch. Yes, there are drawbacks, but there's season three to improve upon those. Rated: 3.5/5 Jun 7, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

The Best web series Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/27/24 Full Review vasundhara r At one point everyone in the room had their hands on their mouths and were in deep concentration. This show is absolutely brilliant. And usually the sequels are not as good but this one is even better. I had my heart in my throat and was on the edge of my seat! God! Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/15/23 Full Review Hemant S Raj and D.K. get some brownie points right upfront for doing one thing differently in the second season of "The Family Man" – this one doesn't end with a gaping wide hole at the season finale. For sure there are more troubles coming that will entangle Srikant Tiwari (Manoj Bajpayee) and his team of undercover soldiers.Coming back to this season, the plot and the setting is quite the sensitive one in all honesty. It will no doubt ruffle some feathers, but in my opinion – no one has been put in any shade that is not historically accurate. The story is very much a piece of fiction, derived from real life events – past and present.Tiwari's saga picks up from the events that saw the finale of season one – and we find him trying his hand at an actual corporate 9-5 job. Meanwhile, the country and its prime minister find themselves right in the middle of political tensions with prominent "neighbors".A lot of familiar characters return, including the sparky J. K. Talpade (Sharib Hashmi) who crackles with his comic timing and chemistry with Bajpayee. Suchi (Priyamani) continues to struggle with her marriage to Srikant, and the nosy kids find themselves grappling with teenage life. And to add to his woes, a nemesis arises from her refuge; a fierce warrior who is fanatically devoted to her cause and will do to all ends to finish the "job".Samantha Akkineni is a scene stealer in this season as Raji, a refugee who has been through the grinder of war and abuse, burning with a bright red flame of vendetta and faint traces of humanity through her eyes all at the same time. Raw talent tapped to its full potential, this actress will break out to global cinema very soon.Darshan Kumaar and Shahab Ali return in their roles and have some great scenes, while the ensemble is excellent with Ravindra Vijay, Mime Gopi, Shrikrishna Dayal, Anand Sami and so many others including the late Asif Basra. And if you're wondering whatever happened to Zoya (Shreya Dhanwanthary) and Milind (Sunny Hinduja), you won't be disappointed from a realistic perspective. But Manoj Bajpayee is a powerhouse who motors this show; and he just gets better with every starring role. He delves in a very wide spectrum between grim seriousness to self-deprecating humor, perfectly emoting it all.Raj and D.K. keep a tight show with an amazing balance of thrill, action and some wry humor that keeps the chuckles coming. A great binge watch again, no two ways about that. (better not get that FOMO) Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/29/23 Full Review Audience Member What the duck are you doing not watching the masterpiece? Go watch Season 1, then 2 but either way the franchise as a whole takes balancing two lives better than Spider-Man, that too at an even more realistic level. Choreography, music, plot, casting all come in a nice gift. WATCH IT!!! Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Its difficult to maintain tension in a 1 hr long movie, impossible by commercial bollywood. But they managed to do it for 9 episodes straight. What a master piece! I believe the writers are the true heroes here. But no one could have done this justice other than the brilliant cast. Manoj and Samantha *chef's kiss*. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
